Bouffant Caps

Bouffant caps are used to protect the controlled environment from operators’ shed hair, and are typically constructed of lightweight spunbond polypropylene (SBPP) fabric. Caps are worn alone or under a cleanroom hood for added particle protection. An elastic band is used to hold the cap on the head. The caps are available in two primary sizes of 21-inch and 24-inch diameters (size of circular fabric swatch in diameter prior to applying elastic band) and in the routine colors of white and blue. Valutek’s Cleanroom Bouffant Caps are offered in regular and heavy-weight non-linting, non-woven 100-percent spunbond polypropylene. The elastic edge is filament covered, and come in both blue and white. They are disposable, comfortable and breathable. Valutek’s cleanroom bouffant caps, like all Valutek products, are individually inspected for stitching, sizing, material and workmanship.
