Labcoats

Cleanroom lab coats are usually used in a non-cleanroom environment of a controlled environment facility where assembly operations are performed or where minimal contamination control procedures are in place. That means they are most often used by temporary workers, visitors to the critical environment or auditors. Lab coats typically have a fold-down collar, open sleeves, snap or zippered front closure, are mid-thigh or knee length, and have one breast pocket and two waist pockets. Lab coats can be made from spunbond polypropylene, laminate materials or Tyvek. Valutek’s disposable cleanroom lab coats are offered in non-linting, non-woven spunbond polypropylene (#VTLBCT), or in a microporous material (#VTMLBCTZ) that is very breathable and offers superior barrier protection against non-toxic particulates, liquids, spray and dust. Valutek’s microporous lab coats also feature bound seams and tunnelized elastic cuffs.
